Stephen Chun

Biography 

Dr. Chun is a Radiation Oncologist at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Chun attended Georgetown University as an undergraduate where he received a bachelors of science (B.S.) degree in 2005 and received his medical degree (M.D.) the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine in 2010. During medical school, Dr. Chun completed a fellowship sponsored by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation at the University of Iowa from 2007-2008. As faculty at M.D. Anderson, Dr. Chun has published high profile clinical research in major medical journals and serves as Principal Investigator of multiple prospective clinical trials at MD Anderson. Dr. Chun also serves on the NRG Oncology Lung Cancer Core Committee, the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Lung/Sarcoma Radiation Oncology Board Examination Committee, American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) Annual Meeting Scientific Planning Committee, the American Radium Society (ARS) Thoracic Appropriate Use Criteria Committee and International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) Advanced Radiation Technology Committee.
